Outstanding CPPI and CPI exam results for ISS candidates

Didn’t they do well? 100% of Insolvency Support Services’ candidates in the June 2015 sitting of the CPPI exams have all passed, over half (55%) with merit or distinction. Our candidates took both first and second place in Scotland.

Meanwhile, all but one of our candidates in the CPI June 2015 exams passed too. 75% passed with merit, and one of our candidates took first place in Scotland.

Eileen Maclean, Insolvency Support Services director and lead trainer, commented: “Our congratulations to all our candidates, as well as to Wilson Andrews and Accountant in Bankruptcy, which achieved a 100% pass rate for their candidates. It’s very satisfying to see our candidates doing so well.”

Insolvency Support Services, which has recently been short-listed in the Education / Training Provider of the Year category in the Insolvency & Recovery Awards 2015, offers a range of training courses to meet the needs of insolvency practitioners throughout their careers.

ISS sponsors R3 in Scotland Annual Dinner

Insolvency Support Services are sponsoring the forthcoming R3 in Scotland Annual Dinner. Having supported the inaugural R3 in Scotland’s Ladies Lunch in 2014, we are delighted to be associated with this year’s event being held on 11 September at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.

The Snap Happy Media Photo Booth, sponsored by Insolvency Support Services, will be capturing the evening’s events.

We hope to see many of our clients and contacts there.

It’s only an “only”, but it’s an important only!

The recent BADAS introduced not only changes to sequestration, but made some amendments to the Protected Trust Deeds (Scotland) Regulations 2013.  The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted the insertion of the word “only” into Regulation 23(1).  This means that for trust deeds signed on or after 1 April 2015, a trustee’s remuneration can only be structured on a fixed fee and administration fee basis.  That “only” shuts the gate on other fee bases once and for all.date

ISS Training: Forthcoming courses

Booking is now open for our Corporate Insolvency Update on 10 September in Glasgow and 23 September in Edinburgh.  This course has been developed for anyone who needs to keep abreast of changes to corporate insolvency legislation and of significant legal cases which have an impact on how we run our cases on a day-to-day basis.

Our ever-popular Foundation Courses are back – Personal Insolvency is running on 15 and 16 September and Corporate Insolvency on 27 and 28 October.  Check out the training section for full details and how to book.

And don’t forget that CPI and CPPI courses for the December 2015 exam sitting commence on 19 August.  Still plenty time to book.
